Meet Emily, Founder
After 17 years in the beauty industry, I’ve learned something that no one really tells you when you’re chasing your dreams: building a beauty business is hard—not because you’re not passionate enough, talented enough, or driven enough… but because you’re expected to be everything.
The artist. The marketer. The strategist. The content creator. The social media manager. The CEO.
I started in the bridal beauty world and quickly built one of the top bridal teams in Columbus, Ohio. Business was thriving—but as I worked closely with my brides, I saw a pattern. They didn’t just want makeup on their big day—they wanted confidence. That glow-from-within confidence that can’t be faked with highlighter.
So I expanded. I opened The Glow House in 2016, built a full-service skincare business, and poured myself into helping my clients achieve that radiant bridal glow—long before the aisle.
I’ve built two multi–six-figure businesses—one as a solopreneur, one with a team. I’ve felt the late nights, the second-guessing, the burnout, and the constant pressure to show up online just to stay visible. And while I love this industry deeply, there’s one truth I couldn’t ignore:
Content shouldn’t be what breaks us.
The endless loop of trying to look professional, create fresh content, keep up with trends, and somehow still have energy for clients… it’s exhausting. Brand shoots, social media managers, designers—it’s just not accessible for most solo estheticians.
That’s why I created Glow Society: the content + marketing membership I wish had existed when I was in the thick of it.
A membership that hands you the visuals, words, strategy, and support you need to grow with confidence—without the burnout or overwhelm.
This isn’t just about saving time or looking polished online. It’s about giving you your power back.
Because when you feel confident in how you show up, you stand out—and when you stand out, you grow.
Glow Society was built for you—the esthetician with a big heart, a bold dream, and no time to waste.
Welcome home.
THE HEART BEHIND THE BRAND
Meet Emily, the visionary founder behind Glow Society. As a serial entrepreneur and dedicated single homeschooling mama to her daughter, Emily brings a wealth of experience and passion to the beauty and skincare industry, with over 15 years of expertise under her belt. Having built a successful multi six-figure business in the beauty and skin industry, Emily understands the challenges of marketing and social media in today's digital landscape. Recognizing the stress and burden that consistent marketing can place on entrepreneurs, she saw a gap in the industry and created Glow Society to help fellow estheticians reclaim their love for their craft without being overwhelmed by the demands of an online presence.
As Emily developed Glow Society, she deeply considered things that would help on improving work-life balance and mental health. Understanding the struggles of small businesses, she sought to create a solution that would provide valuable resources without the high costs and time commitments typically associated with hiring social media managers, agencies, and copywriters. Drawing from personal experiences of dealing with failed services and expensive professionals, Glow Society membership includes essential tools and support tailored to help small businesses thrive without breaking the bank or consuming excessive time. This approach ensures that members can focus on their core business activities while still reaping the benefits of expert assistance and guidance. Glow Society aims to empower entrepreneurs to thrive in their businesses while embracing support.
